Roles and responsibilities
As an ESC volunteer in communications
You will be part of the largest student organization in Europe working in the field of mobility. You will assist in carrying out various communications-related tasks, including:
- Social Media Communications Implementation: Content management and production for ESN's social media channels (Instagram, TikTok, Twitter).
- Strategic planning to enhance mobility opportunities: Working on strategies to enhance mobility for students and young people across Europe.
- Copywriting and Newsletter Design: Producing news articles for ESN.org and working on editorial content.
- Photography, video and graphic design: digital and print promotion of mobility activities.
- Collect testimonies related to ESN activities: Collaborate with mobility participants to collect and document their experiences.
Training while volunteering
You will have the opportunity to learn and improve the following skills:
- graphic design
- Social media management and online marketing
- Use of Adobe programs (Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator) and Canva
- Working on projects and writing and producing news articles
- Photography, editing and video making
Financing and benefits
- European Solidarity Volunteer Contract for 12 months
- Monthly salary: 450 euros
- Free accommodation: in Brussels with a rent of up to 450 euros per month paid by ESN
- Free meals

- Covering transportation costs in Brussels and travel costs to Brussels and back
- Letter to obtain a Schengen visa
